There is a special story with the Australian Ancient Redgum timber, having been buried for thousands of years and uncovered in a quarry, these timber exhibit a dense black colour and are extremely rare and unique to this beautiful country.
Starting with a rectangular block of Australian wood and hand turning into this marvellous shaving brush is art. This is hand turned and then polished with several coats of Australian waterproof polymer, allowed to cure before it goes on our shelves. Making this handle is no easy task, but the finished result is all worth it.
